Our Awards
IHG won a National Training Award in recognition of its UK-wide training programme designed to help employees deal more confidently with disabled guests. The programme was developed in response to the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and is considered the UK’s number one accolade for businesses, organizations and individuals who have achieved lasting excellence and success through training and learning.
IHG was one of only nine companies in the South East to receive the National Training Award due to its outstanding achievement in workplace training and development.
The awards are organised by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills and are celebrated at 3 levels, of which IHG won the top category:
- Highly Commended – showing great potential and a dedication to excellence through training
- Regional Training Awards – demonstrating outstanding achievement in their region in England
- National Training Awards – demonstrating exceptional achievement made through training and development, selected from across the UK.
